I cannot do a photoshoot without music + surprising my clients with a perfectly curated playlist on the day of our session is my favorite! I grew up singing and music just speaks directly to my soul. I love nearly every genre. Now if you can get down with Taylor Swift, the Ying Yang Twins, Bon Jovi, Shania Twain, Drake, Alan Jackson, Guns N' Roses, Vertical Horizon, The Weeknd, Cody Johnson, + more, I know we'll be besties!
You can typically find me with my hair a hot mess nose deep in a book, outside with dirty hands from farm work, or on whatever adventure my husband, son, and daughter have taken me on. Coffee + Soy Chai Teas fuel me. I'm "kinda crunchy" and love a good conversation about cultures + philosophies from around the world. Give me mountains or beaches and I'll be the happiest person. Travel and nature reignite my soul and keep me inspired + grounded.

I am passionate about photography because it captures real moments in the only tangible way that we can capture and see them again! I want everything about our session together to be authentic to you. We will laugh and smile and dance and run, and I am here to serve you during our time together. Do we need to kick things off with a champagne toast?! I will pull up with two flutes + a bottle of Fredericksburg's finest bubbly! Are you worried about what to wear during your shoot? Boom! I'll send you my styling guide. Are your kiddos awkward as can be with posing? Good! I hate posing. My sessions are about moving and behaving as you normally would and me capturing those moments in a beautiful light, so if tag is your child's favorite game, guess what we're playing on the day of your session?!
